Kenduri kahwin...

I rush back to JB because of my neighbour kenduri kahwin yg I mesti attend since I'm the pengapit. Already planned 3 month ago so tak boleh tolak. I leave everything behind...assignment, submission and all just to fulfilled my duty here. Tiring? Of course. Muscle ache and kaki melecet teruk. But thank goodness all the food simply delicious and mouth watering. 2 days jadik pengapit since both family just neighbor in the same area (sorang atas bukit and sorang bawah bukit..). Senang betul nak bermenantu ngan berbesan. Rumah dekat dekat.

Nie first day...kat umah pengantin perempuan. Tengah tue mak pengantin lelaki and kanan sekali adik pengantin perempuan.

Thats my title for this 3 x 4 feet artwork. I complete it last week before going back JB. Really proud of it.

Before. Outline and sketches for figure.

This is the final outcome. Material use:- charcoal, bitumen, and turpentine. Very spooky and "silent hill" kind of mood.

Description:-

This artwork basically talks about women discrimination and how they been treated with unfairness. This issues had been a world issues for many many years. People talks about equalities and genders discrimination. Why women were put lower status than men? In some country, women were constraint and their freedom were totally blocked. It is sad to know that some of the country that had tyrannical government even go to an extend of hanging an innocent women just because she voice out her right. It is totally inhumane. Inside the painting you can see the women expression. An expression of hatred, detestation and disgust.

Tension and activity

Had our first sound/voice recording in Mr.Ajoy studio this afternoon. For sure it give us a view and understanding on how people operate all the equipment inside the studio. How the interact with inside the recording room and using Sony Vegas as recording software. Its easy surprisingly and feels like professional artist producer. Heheh.

Had lunch in HB2 foodcourt...as usual...my complete nutrition food.

Around 6 p.m Anem ym me saying that she and a group of DM student gonna watch movie Congkak at GSC Alamanda. I'm quite free so tag along with them eventho abit tired. Anyway...the movie is so so la. Not that scary...*watched Deadly Ghost few weeks before..so kinda use to shock factor* But some of the scene does makes me jump from my sit. People screaming and then laughing makes me remember the same scenario when watching Jangan Pandang Belakang except JPB alot more scarier. The scene when the granny ghost appear at window causing people scream hysterically. Damn...I hate anything that suddenly appear at the window or on the other side of a door. After a while...dah tak raser shock coz dah biasa...but I hate the sound FX. It is too much. Mr.Ajoy for sure failed the person who did the sound editing. The film use some crappy visual fx...women floating, magic, earth divide by two and the house runtuh...*I swear the smoke looks so crappy and 3d...* But people keep on talking bout the film so I guess maybe it had some positive element. Anyway...we go to Seri Kembangan to eat McD at first...but penuh..so tukar to KFC. Below are some pic that manage to be taken.
